Overview

Registered Neonatal Nurse - Whitechapel

Pulse are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Neonatal Nurses in East London, Whitechapel. We aim to remove the administrative hassles of shifts, timesheets, and instability, and provide support so you can focus on delivering high-quality neonatal care.

Enjoy flexible shifts from Monday to Sunday with block bookings available up to 3 months in advance. The nearest station is Whitechapel. Rate: £26.00 - £39.57 per hour.

What you will be doing as a Registered Neonatal Nurse
  • Attending births and providing care for infants directly after birth.
  • Evaluating and overseeing the care of infants in the NICU.
  • Monitoring the health of infants with medical issues relating to birth, such as prematurity or congenital defects.
  • Performing tests and obtaining and evaluating results.
  • Providing treatment and administering medication as prescribed by the NICU physician.
  • Running and maintaining equipment in the NICU.
  • Formulating nursing plans and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments.
  • Comforting sick newborns and supporting anxious parents and family members.
  • Offering support to parents and educating them on at-home care of their newborn.
Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration.
  • At least 6 months of recent UK NHS experience within the Neonatal Sector.
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference and cover the last three years of employment.
