The successful applicant will be based on the Regional Bed unit at HMP Manchester and will provide direct care to patients with regards to both their physical and mental health needs.

The role is very varied and interesting, allowing the successful applicant to develop existing skillsets.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive integrated multidisciplinary team.

The ideal successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable.

This post is a full time permanent post and we would warmly welcome hearing from potential candidates.

The role involves shift working, inclusive of night cover on a rotational basis.

To support the multidisciplinary team within Regional bed unit at HMP Manchester and wider healthcare service, ensuring that optimal quality of nursing care is provided to patients who reside in HMP Manchester.

The role involves assessments, formulation and implementation of care plans, and ensuring that optimal quality nursing care is provided to patients who reside at HMP Manchester.

There is a strong focus on multi-discplinary working, giving the opportunity to work alongside a number of different professions to ensure a holistic approach to individual patient care.
