Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Children's Manager, or Deputy Manager who is prepared to make that next step up. Responsibilities
  • Lead the home to achieve and maintain Ofsted Good or Outstanding outcomes
  • Manage daily operations within the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Ensure each child has a care plan which reflects their emotional, care, health, educational, social, therapeutic, and cultural & diverse needs.
  • Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care to children with complex needs
  • Create a warm, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children can grow and flourish
  • Provide support, training and guidance to staff ensuring best practice
  • Foster positive relationships with families and other professionals to ensure a person-centred approach
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the environment, conducting regular inspections and audits as well as carrying out risk assessments
Qualifications
  • Experienced leader with 2 years minimum residential childcare experience
  • Passionate about achieving positive outcomes for Children & Young People
  • Confident, resilient and committed to achieving excellence
  • Skilled in building strong, supportive teams
  • Able to meet all Ofsted requirements for Registered Managers
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or be prepared to acquire within 2 years)
