Registered General Nurse – Ware, Hertfordshire

Location: Westgate House Care Centre, Tower Road, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG12 7LP

Hourly rate: £18.00 to £23.00 per hour, plus paid handover

Shifts: 8pm to 8am, shifts available across Monday to Sunday

Hours: Permanent, part time and bank opportunities available

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse looking for a rewarding career in a caring and supportive environment? We are seeking an experienced nurse with a valid NMC PIN to join our friendly team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities
  • Look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents
  • Support the Home Manager to effectively implement policies and procedures and ensure they are upheld at all times
  • Ensure that the residents have access to key medical, social and other care workers as required
  • Have full knowledge of and take responsibility to ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures of the Department of Health and the company at all times
  • Work in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines, NMC code of conduct and relevant legislation at all times
About you
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Valid and current NMC registration and PIN
  • Previous experience in elderly care is essential to be considered
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering person-centred care
