About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 3-bed Children's Home in Preston, specialising in supporting children with Learning Disabilities.



Responsibilities


  • Lead the day-to-day management of the children's home

  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards

  • Manage, support, and develop a dedicated care team

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for young people

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and external professionals

  • Promote safeguarding and ensure the highest standards of care



Ideal Candidate


  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or Deputy ready to step up) in children's residential care

  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding procedures

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
