Overview

Role: General Assistant – Sella Ness Lodge & Sullom Voe. Location: Shetland Isles. Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off. Hours: 73.5 per week (10.5 hours per day). Pay Rate: £13.19 per hour. Travel from Aberdeen to Shetland and return is paid by Sodexo with an allowance towards travel from home to Aberdeen. Accommodation and meals provided.

As a General Assistant for Sodexo at Sella Ness Lodge, you will play a key role in supporting the catering and cleaning services at this high-quality accommodation complex, which houses up to four百 workers. The lodge is closely linked to the nearby gas plant and terminal, where Sodexo provides facilities management, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance services. What you’ll do

• Room servicing, including thorough cleaning of en-suite bathrooms.
• Lined and laundry services.
• Refuse collection and recycling.
• Cleaning of communal areas, restrooms, reception, dining, laundry, and recreational facilities.
• Ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, crockery, and equipment are clean and organised.
• Assist in the checking, acceptance, and correct storage of deliveries.
• Properly disposing of kitchen waste and recyclables
• Supporting the Chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required
• Assist in setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods from counters and steamtables.
• Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for visitors and staff
