Role Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compass Associates are working exclusively with a respected elderly care provider to appoint a Regional Support Manager for their Scottish portfolio. This is a high‑impact operational role supporting a group of care homes through quality improvement, regulatory readiness, cultural development and leadership strengthening.

The position would particularly suit an experienced, nurse‑qualified operator with a track record in turnaround, troubleshooting or multi‑site improvement support.

The Opportunity

As Regional Support Manager, you will provide hands‑on operational leadership across a number of services, working closely with Home Managers and the Regional Operations Manager. You will play a key role in:

  • Supporting services during periods of transition or heightened scrutiny
  • Leading and monitoring improvement plans
  • Strengthening compliance, governance and clinical quality
  • Conducting site visits, audits and walk rounds
  • Coaching and developing Home Managers and senior teams
  • Supporting occupancy, staffing and commercial performance
  • Assisting with onboarding, leadership gaps and service stability
  • Promoting a culture rooted in accountability, compassion and continuous improvement

This is a varied and mobile role with genuine scope to influence outcomes across the region. Occasional evening, weekend and on‑call responsibilities may be required.

What We're Looking For
  • Nurse‑qualified (NMC) with strong operational experience
  • Background in care home management, regional support or quality leadership
  • Strong working knowledge of CI/CQC standards
  • Exposure to turnaround or service improvement
  • Excellent communication, coaching and relationship‑building skills
  • Confident analysing data and driving measured action
  • Full UK driving licence

If you're an experienced leader who excels at stabilising services, supporting Home Managers and improving quality, we'd welcome a confidential conversation. This is not a developmental role, please only consider applying if you satisfy the above requirements.
