Overview

Regional Support Manager - Children's Residential Care

Salary: £58,000 + up to 10% annual bonus

Hybrid with regional travel - Midlands to the South of England

Responsibilities
  • Provide flexible, high-quality support across multiple children's homes.
  • Offer "parachute" support to Registered Managers when extra capacity or expertise is needed.
  • Deliver audits, coaching, and mentoring to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Provide interim management cover where required, ensuring consistency and high standards.
  • Support staff teams to maintain safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments.
  • (On rare occasions) assume home registration responsibilities if circumstances require.
About You
  • Significant experience in children\'s residential care, ideally as a Senior/Peripatetic Registered Manager or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
  • The ability to quickly assess, stabilise, and strengthen services.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel across a regional network.
