Regional Manager – UK & Ireland

Pet Food / FMCG Industry

Location: UK or Ireland (Home-based with national travel)

Salary: Flexible, depending on experience

A leading global brand in the premium pet food space is seeking an accomplished Regional Manager for the UK & Ireland . This is a senior commercial leadership role with full P&L responsibility, shaping regional strategy and driving continued growth across major retail and distribution channels.

The ideal candidate will bring deep commercial expertise, strong retailer relationships, and the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and influential in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the UK & Ireland commercial strategy in alignment with European objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across retail, distributor, and partner channels.
  • Manage high-level commercial negotiations with major customers and strategic partners.
  • Execute brand and trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with the wider European marketing team.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the pet food sector.
  • Lead product launches, promotional campaigns, and in-store / online activations.
  • Maintain strong alignment with the European HQ across supply chain, marketing, finance, and planning.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and insight-led market intelligence.
What We’re Looking For
  • 7–10+ years’ sales leadership experience within pet food or FMCG.
  • Proven track record managing major retail and distribution accounts.
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with international / European teams.
  • Commercially astute, data-driven, and results-focused.
  • Strong collaborator with excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Full UK or Irish driving licence.
