Qualifications

  • Experience of land-based management in the forestry and conservation sector.
  • Qualified to HND/degree level in forestry, land management, or related field.
  • Understanding of project management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in conducting woodland condition assessments.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols and ability to enforce them.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise contracts and contractors on site.
  • Conduct inspections and surveys on temperate rainforest sites.
  • Plan and monitor financial management of woodland programmes.
  • Engage with local communities and volunteers for events.
  • Monitor and review woodland management plans.
