JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Regional Trainer to deliver high-quality, engaging and innovative training across our care home group in the West Midlands. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our staff have the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to provide outstanding care to our residents. SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • ✅ Delivering a wide range of training, including:
    • Health & Social Care Induction
    • Moving & Handling
    • First Aid Basic Life Support
    • Mandatory & refresher training
  • ✅ Implementing the company training strategy across the group
  • ✅ Ensuring statutory and mandatory training compliance is always met
  • ✅ Making sure all new starters receive a thorough and engaging induction
  • ✅ Working closely with the Head of Training, Directors, CEO, and regional teams
  • ✅ Carrying out training audits and supporting continuous improvement
  • ✅ Taking on additional responsibilities within your skills and competence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the region
  • PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience delivering training, coaching, and mentoring in a healthcare environment
  • Strong IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience creating training sessions, materials, and resources
  • Good knowledge of care home regulations and best practice
DESIRABLE
  • Moving & Handling Instructor & First Aid Trainer (or willingness to qualify)
  • Willingness to train in additional subject areas as required

Work Location: On the road (West Midlands)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £16.00 per hour plus fuel allowance
