Regional Bodyshop Team Leader

Location: Scotland (desirable would be Glasgow / Livingstone area)

Shift: Monday-Friday 45 hours per week 8:00am-5:30pm

Salary: £48,148.00

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Bodyshop Team Leader to join our team in Scotland. As a Regional VE Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our body shop teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of quality.

You will oversee a team of body shop technicians, providing guidance, motivation, and support to meet production targets and KPIs. This role involves hands-on leadership, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained across the team.

You will report directly to the Regional Duty Manager.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the team of bodyshop technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
  • Coordinate daily workloads, monitor progress, and address any issues to meet operational targets.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance, training, and mentoring to develop team skills and performance.
  • Manage team communications, conduct briefings, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Support your line manager with HR functions such as managing staff absences, holiday and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist with reporting and record-keeping for operational performance and team activities.
Personal Requirements
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience (minimum 3 years) within a body shop environment or similar industry.
  • Extensive experience within a body shop role (minimum 5 years).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
