A leading supplier of refrigeration solutions is seeking a qualified refrigeration service engineer to cover the North London area. The role involves carrying out repairs, preventative maintenance, and being on call as required. The successful candidate must have a current F-gas qualification and relevant refrigeration certification. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues.
• Experience with CO2 refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Undertake preventative maintenance work.
• Cover 24 hour call out on a rota basis.
• Advise on calls passed from the Service Office.
• Assist with installation work if required.
• Carry out local commissioning when needed.

Overview

This opportunity is with a leading supplier of the full range of remote control and plug-in refrigerated cabinets to the retail, food and beverage and hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors. Current opportunity for a qualified refrigeration service engineer to cover the North London/Home Counties region. Customers range from supermarkets to small independent businesses.

Successful applicant must have current F-gas qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems
• To undertake preventative maintenance work as requested
• To cover 24 hour call out on a rota basis
• To receive, respond and advise on calls passed from the Service Office
• To carry out or assist on installation work, when required
• To carry out commissioning at local level where required

• Capable of hands-on problem solving with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
