What You'll Do: Being a Care Professional at Home Instead is a truly rewarding experience where no two days are the same. With a minimum of 1-hour visits and thoughtful client matching, you'll have the time and support to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that makes a real impact. You'll be a trusted companion, a helping hand, and a source of comfort—bringing joy, dignity, and independence to the lives of older adults in your community.

Care Professionals provide care in clients' homes and support their wellbeing through individualised services, companionship, and practical assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Companionship - providing meaningful social interaction, emotional support, and a friendly presence
  • Help with daily tasks - such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and everyday routines
  • Accompanying clients - to appointments, errands, or outings that help them stay connected and active
  • Personal care - assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other essentials to promote health and independence

Note: Families rely on us to notice changes in wellbeing. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and communicate clearly is key. You may liaise with colleagues, report concerns, or seek support to ensure every client is in safe, trusted hands.
