Responsibilities
- Partner and build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders across the bank to understand resourcing needs in the short and long term (horizon scanning).
- Design, develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high quality candidates, leveraging various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events etc
- Lead and tailor end to end recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
- Proactively identifies and engages with top tier talent through head hunting and direct sourcing techniques to support the Bank's succession planning ambitions and talent pipelining
- Trusted advisor by providing expert guidance and support to hiring community on recruitment best practice, standards and compliance including but not limited to, Assessment & Selection methods, Interview techniques, talent pipelining and Employee Value Proposition.
- Partners with the wider People Team (i.e. People Partners, Reward) to ensure the alignment between recruitment activities and broader HR initiatives including organisational design and reward strategies.
- Monitor and track recruitment metrics (KPI's) and analyse/ identify trends, measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and provide insight for continuous improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, legal requirements related to recruitment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintains accurate records of recruitment activity to meet regulatory reporting standards.
- Builds strong relationships with external parties/ partners including executive search firms where required to deliver against the Bank's recruitment needs.

What you will need

- Extensive experience of leading end to end recruitment processes, with a focus on head hunting, market mapping and direct sourcing in the Banking and Finance Industry.
- Demonstrate high levels of agility and ability to adapt to changes and operate as part of a high performing team.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience: proven experience partnering, influencing and advising the business to deliver successful recruitment outcomes.
- Ability to deliver high-touch candidate experience that reflects the bank's values and EVP.
- Experience in embedding DE&I principles into sourcing / hiring practices and challenging the hiring community (where applicable) to build inclusive teams.
- Proactively uses recruitment metrics and analytics to track performance, manage talent pipelines, identify trends to inform decision making and prioritise workload.
- Led projects and recruitment related initiatives aimed at enhancing and optimising recruitment capabilities.
- Deep understanding of recruitment technologies including ATS, Selection tools/ methodologies, AI, social media and other innovative sourcing techniques
- Well versed in managing third party suppliers/vendors and recruitment partners and holding them accountable against KPIs and SLAs.
- Experience in resolving escalations and conflict professionally and efficiently.
- Naturally data centric and comfortable presenting to colleagues and senior leadership teams.
- Understanding of banking regulations and how these apply to recruitment processes.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving.
