Business Manager/ Executive Recruitment Consultant - Reed Colchester

Location: G4, 159 Princes Street Ground Floor, Connexions, Ipswich IP1 1QJ
Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle essential
Hybrid Working: 3-4 days in-office, 1-2 days from home (full-time office-based during induction)
Salary: £30,000 - £43,000 (DOE) + £2,000 car allowance (for managers) + uncapped bonus potential
Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

What Is This Role?

We're looking for a driven Senior Recruiter, Team Leader, Lead Recruiter, Principal Recruiter or Recruitment Manager ready to step into a lead recruiter/manager role and spearhead the growth of a small team of recruiters focusing on Business Support recruitment across Colchester and surrounding areas.

You’ll inherit a warm desk and small team with strong potential to bill £500k annually. It hasn’t yet reached its full potential, as it was previously managed on a part‑time basis. This is your opportunity to unlock that growth and make a real impact.

What You’ll be Doing:
  • Grow your own desk, win new business, and maximise revenue through effective client and candidate management.
  • Build strong client relationships, understanding their hiring needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Attract high-quality candidates through adverts, headhunting, networking, and social media, maintaining a strong talent pipeline.
  • Lead and develop a team of two recruiters now or in the future.
