As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £25,000 per annum. The salary for this role is on an incremental scale and will rise each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,000 per annum.For further details please reach out to a member of the recruitment team via recruitment@wearewithyou.org.uk.

Main duties of the job

We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the adult community team, alongside in-house services which include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. Youll workwith them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery.

This is afrontline roleat WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring theyre always treated with respect and dignity.

Person Specification
Experience
  • Have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
  • Have demonstrable experience of working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting
  • Successful track record of working or volunteering with people who have experienced substance misuse issues
  • Have a driving license with access to a vehicle. You will need to ensure business use is added to your insurance policy
  • Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Be able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed
  • Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
  • Have good oral and written communication skills
  • Be IT competent
  • Able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion
  • Be happy to support other With You locations when needed
  • As part of this role, you will be required to work occasional Saturdays.
