We're expanding our team and looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join us!

The Role

As a Dental Nurse & Receptionist at You Dental and Aesthetics you'll be at the heart of our practice, providing outstanding support to the clinical team while ensuring our patients feel cared for and comfortable throughout their visit. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a desire to make a difference in patient care, and a genuine passion for dentistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixed role, front of house reception role along with some days nursing.
  • Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient treatment delivery.
  • Provide high levels of patient care, maintaining patient comfort and support throughout their treatment.
  • Ensure all instruments are sterilised and ready for use, in line with infection control procedures.
  • Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions as required (if qualified to do so).
  • Manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and kept up to date.
  • Support the dental team with administrative duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient queries.
  • Educate and reassure patients about dental procedures and aftercare.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure the dental surgery is fully stocked and prepared for daily use.
What We're Looking For
  • GDC registration is essential (General Dental Council).
  • Proven experience as a Dental Nurse (minimum of 1‑2 years preferred, but newly qualified nurses are also welcome).
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑focused approach.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve the best results for patients.
  • Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks is a plus.
  • Willingness to undertake continuous professional development (CPD) and further training.
