Overview

Band 2 Receptionist (CAT 2 Ophthalmology)

This is a full-time post for 37.5 hours per week. The post will include working shifts between 8am and 8pm and weekend work. The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Head and Neck Directorate, is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to join our Reception teams. The team is committed to providing our colleagues with a positive experience, assisting them to build fulfilling and rewarding careers.

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming patients into the departments.
  • Preparing patient files for clinic appointments.
  • Being the first point of call for patients attending Clinic or Eye Casualty.
  • Arranging follow-up appointments for patients before they leave the department.
Qualifications / Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and be willing to multi-task under challenging and busy conditions.
