A regional health trust in Worcestershire is seeking an experienced Administrator/Receptionist to join their busy Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will provide essential admin support at Studdert Kennedy House. Applicants need a level 2 qualification in Business Administration or equivalent GCSE qualifications. This full-time permanent position includes responsibilities such as managing reception and communication with patients and staff. Comprehensive training will be provided, and a supportive working environment is emphasized.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our busy admin Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Receptionist to provide support to the teams and members of Studdert Kennedy House, Worcester.
Applicants require a level 2 qualification in a Business Administration subject OR Good general education with a minimum of 2 GCSEs (to include English Language) at grade 9-4 (*A-C). OR NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 vocational qualification on appointment to post.
This is a permanent post working 37.5 hours per week.
An ability to work flexibly using your own initiative and to be a pro‑active team member is essential. You must have very good organisational skills and be an effective communicator. The work is interesting and varied and full training will be provided.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake an additional assessment as part of the selection process.

You will be part of the busy admin team of the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team and undertake a vital role in the running of the community mental health function. Responsibilities include Reception, telephone duties, inbox management, appointment booking, and any other duties that a reception role requires. The role involves contact with patients, carers, professionals (internal and external), and colleagues daily.
As a member of the wider admin function you will provide support and cover when required, liaising regularly with the clinical team and actioning daily admin tasks. You are required to have a high level of organisational skills, be self‑motivated, and a team player.
The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work flexibly to meet demand are essential requirements of the role as well as a good customer service focus when dealing with internal and external enquiries.
