About the Role

We are looking for a Receptionist who will deliver an excellent standard of customer service by communicating sympathetically and courteously with our Manchester Pet Wellbeing Centre.

Working on the hospital’s busy reception, our Receptionists are responsible for processing clients who attend the hospital, answering telephone enquiries, encouraging financial contributions from clients and maintaining PDSA paperwork.

This job is suitable for those who are highly resilient and enjoy working in a fast paced environment, working flexibly in line with changing demands.

This is a temporary position of 20 hours per week, with shifts varying between 8 : 30am and 6 : 00pm across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays. Additional hours may be offered to support overtime requirements too.

About You

Pethospitals are busy places, therefore successful candidates will need to be organised, with good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner. Previous office experience, including word processing and use of a computerised records systems is an advantage but not essential.
