Location : Abingdon OX13 6FD

Contract Type : Permanent Part-Time

Hours : 24 hours per week. requires flexibility on working days

Salary : 26728 FTE pro rata for part-time hours

As Receptionist you are responsible for managing the overall Reception function within the Clinic. You will ensure that patients receive a friendly efficient and professional service. You are a crucial part of the team looking after the day-to-day running of the clinic. You will work in conjunction with The Dermatology Partnership Central Bookings and Central Admin Team.

Role Responsibilities
  • Supporting the set up clinics check in patients manage appointments (bookings follow-ups cancellations) and ensure clinic rooms are ready.
  • Print schedules prescriptions and post letters; handle documentation audit trails and consultant referral / charge sheets accurately.
  • Assist with doctors and nurses administrative needs including prescription handling and responding to queries.
  • Understand self-funding / insured patient processes take payments / deposits process refunds and liaise with the bookings team.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks including internal referrals patient documentation and end-of-day responsibilities.
