A healthcare provider in Colchester is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Receptionist to join their team. The role, based in the Swan Lane surgery, involves providing an efficient reception service, managing patient enquiries, and ensuring effective communication within the practice. Long Stratton Medical Practice based in Tharston, has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in our Swan Lane surgery, the role will be for 20 hours per week based across 4 days, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 2pm - 7pm and Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player who has customer service/patient experience and offers excellent communication skills.

Long Stratton is a small town in South Norfolk, 10 miles from the historic city of Norwich. We have 11,500 patients on our list, a CQC rating of Good and operate from both our main site and a branch site in Newton Flotman. We are also a dispensing practice with a dispensing list of around 5,500 patients.
We have completed our surgery expansion work with a new wing being added to include 7 clinical rooms. The reason for the expansion is that Long Stratton is being bypassed, 2,000 new homes are planned and therefore potentially 5,000-6,000 new patients will be joining us.
