EYFS Teacher - Reception

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Date: ASAP (January 2026)
Contract: Temporary contract until Summer 2026
Salary: £32,916 - £45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Bonus: Up to £375 Welcome Bonus (T&Cs apply)

About the Role

Are you a passionate EYFS Teacher looking for a rewarding Reception class role starting as soon as possible through to Summer 2026?

Heart of Supply is working closely with a welcoming infant school in Lincoln to recruit a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to take on a Reception class on a temporary contracted basis. This role offers consistency through to the end of the academic year on a full‑time basis.

You’ll play a vital role in giving children a positive and confident start to their education, creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment where pupils can learn through play, exploration, and structured routines.

About the School

The school is a friendly, well‑supported infant setting with a strong focus on early years development, child wellbeing, and positive relationships. You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values creativity, care, and strong foundations for learning.

In addition, Heart of Supply works in partnership with a wide network of welcoming schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, including primary and secondary schools, academies, local authority provisions, and specialist SEND settings. As part of our team, you’ll gain valuable experience and ongoing opportunities beyond this role if desired.

What You Will Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in EYFS (minimum of 6 weeks in a UK school)
• A secure understanding of the EYFS framework
• A warm, nurturing approach and genuine passion for early childhood development
• Creative and engaging teaching ideas that promote learning through play
• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt confidently to new environments
