We're looking for someone who can wholeheartedly embrace the following responsibilities:

  • Delivering outstanding teaching to all pupils in your class, tailoring your approach to their individual educational needs within the EYFS framework.

  • Undertaking careful planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring it's engaging, play-based, and challenging.
  • Conducting careful and ongoing assessment of pupils' learning to inform your planning and interventions, including observations and statutory assessments.
  • Differentiating the curriculum to match tasks and activities to the diverse abilities of children, allowing them to progress at their optimal pace and level.
  • Completing all assessments and records in a timely fashion, adhering to school policy.
  • Working collaboratively with school leaders to track individual pupil progress and implement timely interventions where needed.
  • Developing and teaching individual pupil plans (IEPs) for children with specific needs, in conjunction with school leaders.
  • Ensuring equal opportunities are actively implemented in the classroom and throughout the school.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, actively involving them in the classroom and the learning process.
  • Actively participating in planning and staff meetings, contributing to whole-school development.
  • Contributing to the whole school ethos by taking a leading role in classroom displays and designated whole-school areas as agreed with the Headteacher.
  • Contributing towards the development and implementation of whole-school policies.
  • Cooperating with other staff and professional agencies as appropriate to meet the needs of the children.
  • Engaging in ongoing in-service training for your continued professional development as a teacher.
