Reception Manager, Malmaison – Competitive Salary, 45 Hours per week – Permanent

Location: Liverpool

As Reception Manager you and your team are the first and last person our guests see, you set the tone for the visit and you can ensure that everything has gone above and beyond before they leave.

You will have experience working in a Hotel Reception and ideally with the reservations system Opera. You will be managing a small team within the property and assuming some Duty Manager responsibilitiesthroughout your week.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a reception team, ensuring high standards of guest service and a smooth check-in/check-out experience.
  • Be the front-facing representative of the hotel, delivering guest satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
  • Oversee reservations and front desk operations; work with Opera where applicable.
  • Assign duties, monitor performance, and support the team to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Hotel Reception; knowledge of Opera is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a small team and perform Duty Manager responsibilities.
  • Strong communication, leadership and customer service skills.
