Job summary

A leading provider of flight simulation technology is seeking a Software Engineer to develop real-time software for state-of-the-art flight simulators. Ideal candidates will have strong C programming skills, a relevant degree, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team. The position involves support for integration, testing, and contributing to the full product lifecycle. Qualifications

  • Practical understanding of the Systems Engineering V-model and/or Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience with safety-critical systems in aerospace, automotive, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with ARINC, AFDX, or CAN bus protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Develop real-time software for flight simulators, from control systems to graphical user interfaces.
  • Support integration, testing, fault finding, and problem resolution on simulated systems.
  • Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to customer acceptance.

Skills

Strong C programming skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively

Education

Degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or equivalent experience
