RE Teacher - North Tyneside
Tradewind is thrilled to be working with secondary schools in the North Tyneside area who are looking to recruit a Religious Education (RE) Teacher.
We are searching for a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 (KS5).
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering a rich and balanced RE curriculum that adheres to local and national guidelines.
- Facilitating challenging and meaningful classroom discussions on complex religious, philosophical, and ethical topics.
- Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to drive progress and attainment.
- Managing a supportive and inclusive classroom where all students feel confident to share their views.
- Contributing positively to the Humanities faculty and wider school community in North Tyneside.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A relevant degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related Humanities subject.
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4) (KS5 desirable)
- A commitment to promoting student's Spiritual, Moral, Social, and Cultural (SMSC) development.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the field.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
