North West/ temporary / £140 - 220 per day

A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in the heart of Huyton is seeking a passionate and experienced Religious Education Teacher to join its dedicated humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning and spiritual understanding in a supportive and inclusive school community.

In a teaching role, classroom presence and management are important, and a good level of communication is vital to success of this role. Planning, prep and marking will be expected as an RE teacher; you should have experience in this. You must be confident in conducting lessons using your subject knowledge and able to adapt to the student's ability.

Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4, including exam preparation.
  • Strong classroom management and ability to differentiate for a range of learners.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
