Role

We are working with a fantastic independent SEN school in Barnet, North London, who are seeking a part-time Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join them from September 2025.

This role is ideal for a passionate educator with experience teaching students with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). You will be delivering engaging, differentiated RE lessons one day per week - Fridays only - in a supportive, specialist setting.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver RE lessons tailored to the needs of learners with MLD and ASD.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with SEN staff and support assistants.
Requirements
  • QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with learners with special educational needs.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Available to work every Friday during term time.
