Raw Material Manager – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + benefits

This is a pivotal opportunity to take full ownership of ingredient and supplier integrity across a rapidly growing, innovation-led health brand. As Raw Material Manager, you'll play a central role in shaping raw material management and supplier excellence from the ground up.

You'll ensure every ingredient and packaging component that enters the business meets the highest standards of safety, authenticity and quality. Acting as the key link between technical, procurement and supply chain, you'll drive compliance, traceability and continuous improvement across all supplier and material processes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the supplier approval process and manage supplier audits
• Oversee raw material and packaging specifications to meet customer, legal and internal standards
• Act as the recognised raw material expert on-site, fostering collaboration between suppliers and internal teams
• Manage pesticide, heavy metal, authenticity and microbiological testing programmes
• Maintain supplier documentation, Sedex compliance and risk assessments
• Drive traceability, resolve non-conformances and lead supplier performance reviews
• Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure first-time-right delivery and ongoing quality improvements
• Lead supply chain mapping to deliver full transparency from source to finished product
