The Buyer will drive operations to establish the optimum commercial assortment while working closely with the Buying & Planning Team. Qualified candidates will have a background in retail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for diversity and inclusion. Fluency in English is required, and an international background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as Buying Associate or similar role.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with retail business and store visits.

Responsibilities

• Assort, price, and forecast the line.
• Maintain the line in the IT system.
• Order & track samples orders.
• Track business performance weekly.
• Benchmark decisions against competition.
• Prepare & present assortment at line opening meeting.
• Define seasonal assortment needs upfront.

Position Overview

This is a 6 month full time contract Buyer - MSW Polo WHSL Position Overview Integrate Buying & Planning Team by driving operations to establish the optimum commercial cross channel assortment for related brands/regions, whilst maximizing the financial plan and respecting the category/brand objectives and direction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assort, price and forecast the line
• Maintain the line in the IT system
• Order & track samples orders
• Track business performance weekly (SI, SO, GM,)
• Benchmark decisions against competition & broader market landscape
• Prepare & present the assortment at line opening meeting
• Define seasonal assortment needs upfront & share with Global Merchandising teams
• Contribute to brand elevation both on qualitative and quantitative point of view
• Participate/initiate business development projects
