We are recruiting for a driven R&D Project Engineer to join our client based near Mansfield, Derbyshire. Our client is a global pioneer in combustion technologies, delivering innovative, first-to-market solutions across diverse industries.

This role is perfect for a candidate with a drive and passion for innovative burner technologies who is seeking a defined career path within design, development and testing of new bespoke parts.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct development and testing of bespoke parts in line with international standards.
  • Engage in light fabrication and model making.
  • Solve technical challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Interact with clients directly for projects from cradle to grave including project updates and reporting.
  • Travel occasionally within the UK and overseas.
Candidate Profile:
  • HNC or equivalent in engineering or a scientific discipline.
  • Preferably a time-served engineering apprenticeship with relevant experience.
  • Experience with domestic or light commercial gas appliances (highly advantageous).
  • Fabrication skills (an advantage).
  • Full UK driving licence.
