A leading supplier of radiation detection equipment in Sheffield is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to drive product innovations from prototype to production. The ideal candidate will possess at least five years in R&D, coupled with an undergraduate degree in a relevant field. Qualifications

  • At least five years of relevant industry experience working in a research and development team.
  • Experience in electronic/scientific instrumentation design, prototyping, and bench testing.
  • Experience with mechanical design and knowledge of nuclear physics concepts.

  • Execution of technical tasks in a deadline-orientated manner.
  • Developing and implementing new electronic hardware and embedded firmware solutions.
  • Carrying out testing and evaluation of all new product developments.
