Job summary

A construction company in the North East is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of new-build housing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering, strong financial awareness, and excellent negotiation skills. This role involves preparing costings, managing budgets, and working closely with site teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Residential civil engineering? We are looking for a skilled professional to join a team, working on dynamic new-build housing projects across the North East


This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll be a key player in managing all commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring financial success from the initial bid to the final account.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.

  • Manage project budgets and track costs throughout the construction lifecycle.

  • Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.

  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks.

  • Prepare detailed progress reports and financial forecasts.
