Job summary

A specialist contractor in the utilities and water industry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Kent. The successful candidate will manage project measurements, valuations, and oversee all commercial aspects from bids to final accounts. Ideal applicants will hold a relevant surveying degree and be familiar with NEC contracts. This position offers clear progression pathways and guaranteed work on a large framework.

  • Collating monthly contract reports.
  • Supporting junior Quantity Surveyors.

Civil Engineering / Groundworks

A specialist contractor delivering projects in the utilities, darinage and water industry is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to further strengthen their commercial team in Kent.

If you have experience with construction and engineering-related projects, particularly using NEC contracts, then this could be the role for you.

Duties for Quantity Surveyor:
  • Dealing with measurements, valuations and agreeing work.

Qualifications / Experience for Quantity Surveyor:
  • Relevant surveying degree/qualification
  • Familiarity with NEC forms of contract
  • Good IT literacy with competency in Excel
  • Previous experience within the water industry (preferred but not essential)
