Quantity Surveyor Northampton Salary up to £45,000 DOE Monday - Friday, full time permanent We are working with a specialist subcontractor, seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a subcontractor environment and wants to work on a variety of projects across the region.You will work with a well established team, supporting large UK house builders, and the wider teams of surveyors.You’ll be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of scaffolding and brickwork projects from tender through to final account. This includes liaising with clients, monitoring costs, and ensuring projects are delivered on budget. Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and manage project valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Liaise with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve commercial matters
  • Monitor and control project costs to maximise profitability
  • Prepare monthly reports for senior management
  • Ensure contracts are administered in accordance with company procedures
What We’re Looking For :
  • Previous QS experience within scaffolding, brickwork, or a closely related construction sector (subcontractor experience preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and commercial awareness skills
