Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Ability to manage projects on budget.
• Experience with cost value reports (CVR).

Responsibilities

• Commercially manage projects to ensure budget compliance.
• Complete take off drawings to produce a bill of quantities.
• Approve subcontract and supplier agreements.
• Perform site visits to monitor costs and complete measures.
• Produce final accounts for projects.

Skills

Quantity Surveyor experience in mainstream construction

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract

Organised and professional

Education

The Role

• Commercially manage projects ensuring they are completed within budget
• Take off drawings to produce a bill of quantities
• Subcontract and supplier approval and procurement
• Visit site to ensure costs are on track and complete site measures / variation reports
• Produce cost value reports (CVR)
• Invoice reconciliation and approval for payment
• Produce final accounts

• Quantity Surveyor experience in mainstream construction
