A leading infrastructure services provider in Birstall is seeking a passionate individual for a Quantity Surveyor role. You will be responsible for managing financial aspects of projects and improving profitability while working within a dynamic team. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long‑term while protecting the environment.
You'll be responsible for the procurement and management of sub‑contractor applications and payments, as well as overseeing cash flow and aged debt reporting. The role is not simply about managing finances but also involves working with a team of skilled professionals to ensure successful project outcomes.
Working within our Commercial Team, you will be playing a vital role in the success of our projects. You thrive on being a key player in managing the financial aspects of the Alliance framework. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all work completed is accurately valued and that improvements are made to enhance performance. This role would really suit somebody who is passionate about ensuring the profitability and success of projects.
In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team, working on a variety of projects across the Alliance. You will deal with the financial aspects of the projects, including cost reporting and cash flow management. Your day‑to‑day activities will include providing sound commercial advice and continuously monitoring project performance against the budgets set.
You're not interested in simply going through the motions – you want to be part of a dynamic team where you can make a real impact. You will be at the forefront of managing the commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are completed successfully and within budget.
