Overview

JOB TITLE: Quality Manager. Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation who have forged a profitable niche for themselves working within the yellow construction industry, including diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc. They offer their clients a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending and fabrication.

The role sits with the board and is responsible for all aspects of the quality management system, with quality being integral to the ethos of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for everything quality
• Manage quality team
• Main liaison between client and customers on quality and compliance
• Analyze and review customer performance
• Lead on the development and enforcement of the quality management system ISO9001
• Oversee internal and external audits
• Visit customer sites for meetings and reviews

Candidate / Qualifications

• Quality management experience
• Background within a fabrication environment
• Good engineering knowledge and training
• Willingness to be involved in both the hands-on details and strategic aspects of the job
• Excellent administration skills
