Job Opportunity – Quality Manager for a growing multinational consumer products designer and manufacturer in North Lancashire.

Company : Growing multinational toys designer and manufacturer, which has been established for over 50 years and works with some of the most iconic brands worldwide.

Hours of work : Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm

Location : Lancashire. (NB - this is a site based role and does not offer hybrid working currently)

Duration : Permanent

Salary : Upto £50k, depending on your skills and experience.

What will you be doing?

You will be involved in :

  • Ensuring products comply with UK and European safety directives (EN71, UKCA, CE, etc)
  • Work with designers and manufacturers to ensure that quality standards are met and resolving any customer queries or complaints.
  • Look at sustainability and environmental impact in relation to ISO14001, GRS and FSC standards.
  • Implementing new safety, quality and environmental standards.
  • Ensuring that all products have been Laboratory tested to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
What do you need to be considered?

You will need :

  • Qualifications in Science or Engineering with knowledge of product safety.
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards and ideall EN71 or UKCA , CE standards.
  • Experience of quality management systems (CAPAs, NCRs etc) and continuous improvement.
  • Experience dealing with customers (retailers) on product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
