The Role

As a Quality Inspector Lead, you'll lead the quality assurance and inspection functions across multiple sites. Managing a team of Quality Inspectors, you'll oversee inspection processes, ensure ISO compliance, and maintain exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead inspection of precision components using CMM and other metrology equipment
  • Manage daily operations within the Quality Department and inspection team
  • Validate inspection reports and maintain traceable documentation
  • Maintain calibration systems and ensure compliance with ISO and internal standards
  • Analyse quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Must be able to commute to Leicestershire site, couple of times a month, mileage will be claimed back.
About You
  • Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing quality management
  • Strong knowledge of inspection processes and CMM operation
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Excellent attention to detail and structured approach to work
  • Team player with strong communication and leadership skills
Licences / Certifications (desirable)
  • ISO / Quality management training
  • CE / UKCA compliance training (or willingness to complete)
