Job summary

  • Perform goods inward inspection of all outwork.
  • Check raw materials against purchase orders.
  • Ensure all gauges and measuring equipment are calibrated and maintained.
  • Record defects and non‑conformities and report to the relevant department.
  • Check material certification against quality system requirements.
  • Identify and report quality trends.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Cover for other inspectors when required.
  • Carry out in-house training when needed.

We are recruiting on behalf of our engineering client for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team in Slaithwaite. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who can work independently and maintain high quality standards.
