A leading engineering firm in Dundee is seeking an experienced quality control inspector/co-ordinator to ensure that all components meet strict engineering standards. You will lead QC inspections, maintain inspection records, and support quality initiatives in a collaborative environment. A strong background in mechanical engineering and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are essential. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits, working Monday to Friday (half day).

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical engineering is essential.
• Strong hands-on QC inspection experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Maintain clear and accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Support quality initiatives and suggest improvements.
• Manage stock using ERP/MRP systems.
• Prepare components for freight and complete shipping documentation.
