Quality Inspector - CMM (Shifts)

Salary: £42,875

Location: Denham

We're seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with strong CMM inspection experience to join a precision engineering team on a rotating shift pattern. You'll play a key role in ensuring components meet the highest quality standards through dimensional inspection and testing, while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of precision components using both manual measuring equipment and CMMs.
  • Create, edit, and run CMM programs to verify components against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Maintain inspection records and ensure data is accurately updated within systems.
  • Support Lean and 5S activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in inspection within precision manufacturing/engineering.
  • Skilled in the use of inspection tools and equipment, including CMMs (programming and operation).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply geometrical tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems such as SAP).
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering background desirable.

  • Strong communicator, team player, and able to work independently.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Shift Pattern
  • 06:00 to 14:00
  • 13:45 to 22:00
  • (Rotating weekly)
