Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out in-process and final inspections to verify product compliance with customer and internal specifications.
  • Confidently use measurement equipment including callipers, micrometres, gauges, and custom fixtures.
  • Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions when defects or non-conformances arise.
  • Produce thorough inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
  • Assist the Quality Manager and wider team with continuous improvement activities.
  • Communicate effectively with production teams to prevent issues and maintain workflow.
  • Manage customer and supplier concerns professionally, including issuing debit notes where appropriate.
  • Handle customer quality queries over the phone, providing clear, technical explanations and reassurance.
