Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Quality Inspector for a role based in Telford. The successful candidate will support quality inspection processes and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Support processing of incoming parts and materials in line with corporate procedures.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Verify components and quantities against purchase orders.
  • Liaise with personnel for efficient booking in.
  • Maintain records in compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Assist in audits and maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Participate in quality and safety events as required.
  • Work in various areas such as kitting, stocktaking, and dispatch.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Be prepared to travel if necessary.

Quality Inspector

Location: Telford

PLEASE NOTE: Interviews will be held end of Jan/Feb for a March 2026 start date.

Hours

8-4.45pm Monday – Friday (Early Finish Friday)

Salary

£14.42- £15.86 per hour

Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector
  • You will be supporting the day-to-day processing of incoming parts & Materials, in line with corporate procedures and health and safety guidelines.
  • Responsible for supporting requirements to achieve customer satisfaction, quality, delivery & cost, alongside industry specific targets.
  • You will be verifying components & quantities are correct to purchase Order.
  • Liaise with appropriate personnel within the business to achieve efficient booking in.
  • Record retention & filing in-line with corporate guidelines.
  • Assist in any quality or customer related audits when required. Maintain good house-keeping and a high level of 5s.
  • Participate in QHSE events, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and attend training as required to ensure compliance.
  • Work in other areas of the Materials Management Group, Kitting, Stocktaking and Dispatch. Able and willing to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as and when required. Willing to travel if required (including overnight stay).
The ideal candidate for this Quality Inspector role would:
  • Have experience in high level quality inspection

  • Have the ability to read CAD drawings, use of mic's, Vernier's and other measurement tools.
  • Have a preferabletime served apprentice in Engineering.
