The role involves performing inspections, conducting internal quality audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Qualifications

  • Experience within a mechanical engineering background.
  • Experience in an ISO9001:2015 certified organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience with conventional inspection equipment.
  • Ability to work with both imperial and metric measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct first off and final inspection of manufactured parts.
  • Review completed supplier generated FAI's.
  • Complete internal quality audits to ISO 9001:2015.
  • Upload quality certification to ERP system.
  • Help create work instructions and SOP's.
  • Support internal root cause analysis.

Quality Inspector / Inspection Technician required for Gloucester (GL1) based manufacturing company. Working 36 hours Monday - Thursday (7.30am to 5pm), paying up to £35k

Our client is a well-respected manufacturing company with a long-standing history in the Gloucester area and a diverse range of clients ranging from Gas & Oil, Green Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Pharmaceutical.

This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to become a Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • First off and final inspection of manufactured parts
  • Review completed supplier generated FAI's
  • Completion of internal quality audits to ISO 9001:2015
  • Uploading quality certification to ERP system
  • Help create work instructions and SOP's
  • Support internal root cause analysis
Qualifications
  • Experience gained within a mechanical engineering background
  • Experience working within a ISO9001:2015 certified organisation
  • Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings
  • Experience of working with conventional inspection equipment
  • Ability to work with both imperial and metric measurements
