An exciting vacancy is available as a Quality Improvement Administrator in the Quality, Teaching & Learning department at Cardiff and Vale College. This post will be based at the One Canal Parade offices.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and update Policies and Procedures ensuring that they are up to date and uploaded on the Staff Portal and College website.
  • Ensure that the Staff Portal is kept up to date and relevant information is added relating to Professional Learning, IQA procedures, Teaching and Learning observations etc.
  • Track and monitor the Learning Observations and Learning Walks for College academic staff. Ensure that staff are assigned observers and forms are returned and logged correctly.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of Continuous Professional Development including Staff Development days.
  • Assist Quality Officers in the tracking of completion of Learner Voice Surveys, IQA audits, complaints.
  • Administration, including the taking of minutes and logging of actions, of identified departmental and cross-college meetings.
  • Support the department with the creation of College Quality Procedures and the Quality Cycle, structure and calendar.
  • Assist the department with Quality Monitoring under the Colleges tutorial framework.
  • Assist with the collection and collation of college data for reporting as required.
  • Assist the Head of Quality, Teaching & Learning with the administration of Course Reviews, QDPs, OnTrack, Teams/Sharepoint and Self-assessment reports for learning areas, business support and functional areas.
  • Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.

Note: This is a Fixed Term Contract for Maternity Cover until November 2026.
