An established aerospace manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support and strengthen its quality and compliance function. This role offers the opportunity to play a hands‑on part in maintaining aerospace standards, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring customer and regulatory requirements are consistently met.

Working within a precision engineering environment, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace quality systems and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

  • Conduct internal audits against AS9100 and customer‑specific requirements
  • Investigate customer complaints and rejections, implementing corrective actions
  • Lead root‑cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone and 5 Whys
  • Manage internal non‑conformance reporting and resolution
  • Work cross‑functionally to identify, address and prevent quality issues
  • Support ongoing continuous improvement and best‑practice initiatives
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within aerospace or precision manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards
  • Experience with auditing, non‑conformance management and corrective action processes
  • Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Able to manage changing priorities and collaborate effectively across departments
